Langhe and Roero

We are in the countryside of Piedmont, Monferrato, Langhe and Roero, a land of vineyards, medieval castles, historic villages, wine, truffles and chestnuts.

Awarded by UNESCO in 2014 for its history and its inseparable bond between man and landscape, this land attracts tourists from all over the world every year.

The area offers a wide range of pleasant activities for tourists to enjoy like sports, food & wine tastings, art and culture.

As well as various locations to visit in this microcosm of different landscapes where man and nature have coexisted in total harmony for centuries.

IMMERSE YOURSELF IN THE MAGIC OF LANGHE AND ROERO

Cherasco, which origins date back to 13th century, other than being a destination for historic and cultural tours, it is also known for its curious culinary specialty: in fact, there it is possible to taste the best Italian "Lumache" (Snails)!

In Alba, known for its truffle fair in October, you can take a nice walk around the medieval old town to the San Domenico church, one of the most beautiful Gothic Roman monuments in Northern Italy. But Alba is also famous for its “Donkey Palio Race”.

Bra, a small village known for its biennial cheese fair, is closely located to a former royal palace: the Castle of Pollenzo.

And finally in Asti, capital of the Monferrato district where wine and truffles are celebrated, the real ‘’must-be-there’’ event is the Palio taking place in September, the oldest in Italy. The city counts many fascinating monuments as the Collegiate Church of San Secondo and the sumptuous Palazzetto Mazzetti, home of the Civic Museum.

Monforte D'Alba

Going back to the Langa region, Monforte, with its medieval borgo, surrounded by the prestigious Barolo vineyards and the beautiful sight of the Alps. Cyclist and motorcyclist could enjoy running up and down the hills, hiking small paths and dirt roads leading to ancient churches, taking lovely pictures or even going horse-riding in search of scented truffles in the autumn with the ''tartufaio'' and his inseparable "truffle dog".

But let’s not forget that we are in the land of food and wine, where you can visit cellars and taste the most prestigious wines and products of these wonderful places where creativity and tradition combine.
